Didn't we just post one of these yesterday? WHATEVER.

So, awhile back I made a big blog post complaining about Game Grumps, specifically the whole JonTron leaving thing and the Steam Train bullshit. Leslie and I never really liked Game Grumps before even when it was just Jon and Arin, and Steam Train seemed to be off to a really obnoxious and awful start. We thought the whole thing reeked of cash grab and that nothing good can come from, wrapped in the warm security blanket that Two Best Friends have provided us for years.

Now Leslie and I have gone and watched a few of the new Game Grumps videos and what the fuck we actually like it now. Hell, we thoroughly enjoy it! Arin and Dan are actually really great together and Steam Train has some pretty decent moments. Now that Jon's gone and replaced with somebody who can actually get a point across and play a video game decently, LP's are going smoothly, games are being FUCKING COMPLETED, and there's been some really fun moments. We've watched the whole Zelda and Civ 5 playthroughs and actually laughed pretty hard at them instead of cringing and closing the tab from all the obnoxious singing and "LOOK AT THIS GUY HE'S ALL LIKE ECCCHH"

It's fucking weird. I know I'm harping on Jontron, but when it was him and Arin together, I very much prefered Jon. When those two were together, Arin just became the most obnoxious asshole and Jon was just kind of a wimpy pushover asshole. I like their solo stuff, but I never thought they gelled right outside of the t-shirt commercials. Arin and Dan seem like they have much better chemistry, and they haven't spent a whole video on the game's tutorial completely disregarding any on-screen prompts (since Hotline Miami anyways)
