Aaaaany minute, something will go terribly wrong. Probably.
Not much to talk about today. I beat Ace Attorney Investigations awhile ago (THANKS DREW)! It was an interesting experience, to say the least! I have to admit, I think I like playing as Edgeworth much more than Phoenix Wright. It's nice to play as someone cool and confident who doesn't bumble his way through cases until he accidentally solves them. The new supporting cast wasn't exactly great in comparison to Edgeworth (most are absolutely baffled by the idea of "truth" and "logic"), with the exception of Kay Faraday. She was fun, a lot sassier than the usual teenage girls. Didn't think she was absolutely necessary, but whatever.
The cases themselves started out interesting enough, and it was cool to explore the Ace Attorney world outside of courtrooms. I love that you can actually walk around and shit in this game. However, the last case just doesn't seem to have any extra "oomph", no real sense of urgency. The story just kind of fizzles out, though it ends WAY later than it rightfully should have. Even once you've figured out who the criminal is and how they did it, you still have another two hours to spend trying to proove it. It just didn't have the tension of, say, the final case in Justice for All.
Still, it was a fun game and I'm definitely glad I got to experience it. Still bummed that AAI2 isn't coming stateside. Fucking Capcom.
