Yeah, this might be all atmospheric and mood-setting, but really, it's just to show off how much we've grown since 2011.
So, Leslie and I got our first smartphone! Yes, FIRST smartphone. We've never had one of these gizmos before! Phone shopping has always been super fucking scary for us, with all the contracts and late fees and just how goddamn expensive they are. We ended up getting an LG Tribune from Boost Mobile. I'm not going to turn this blog post into a commercial, but it was pretty affordable and since we have no point of comparison, it's the best phone we've ever had. We've already filled it up with girly anime pictures and custom ringtones (our current one here). I can see why people love these things so much. We're on the cheapest plan at $35 because honestly, we only need it for like the three calls we get each month from our families and maybe skyping the other when we're away. We're hardly every separated, so Leslie and I just share the phone. At least we have an up-to-date GPS now.
