DID SOMEBODY ORDER AN EXTRA LARGE SLICE OF CHEESECAKE?

So, yeah, here’s that two-page update we promised on Christmas. Sorry we missed the last update, but hopefully that really nice picture Leslie drew made up for it! I could just stare at that picture for days, and I’m sure most of you ended up doing just that. Maybe next time we’ll send an animated Christmas card.

So…notice anything different about today’s comic? Anything at all? Yeah, that’s right, you guessed it. This entire page was done by ME. THAT’S RIGHT! LESLIE HAD NO PART IN IT WHATSOEVER. Well, almost no part. She only did the drawing, inking, detailing, shading, and whatnot. But I did the coloring! The flat-colors at least. See, the flat-colors are an incredibly long and tedious thing that Leslie hates because it’s boring. But luckily, I went through a HELL of a lot of coloring books as a child, so it’s the perfect job for me. So while I’m flat-coloring the current comic, Leslie can draw the next, and when I’m done with flat-coloring the current comic, I send it to her for detailing while she sends me the next comic to color! With me doing flat-colors, we’ll be able to do comics MUCH faster! I have no idea why I never learned to do this in the first place! While Leslie was detailing this comic, I was coloring the Chimneyspeak guest comic pages! I got like, SIX whole pages colored, which was easy because they mostly consist of two naked chicks! GO ME

So, wait, is that everything? Oh yeah, Christmas happened. We got money. Lots of it. We put some up for advertising so hopefully we’ll see a nice lil’ boost of people flowing in on this ultra gratuitous comic. We also got a new kitten! A cute lil’ girl cat thing that we named Peachy. My uncle kind of dumped it on us and we can’t say no to an adorable kitten. Sadly, the poor thing keeps getting bullied by our existing cat and Leslie’s fat old chihuahua. But hopefully it’ll grow up to be a super tough cat that doesn’t take no shit in this harsh prison environment.

Take a damn good look at those colors and enjoy the comic! Because I’ll be coloring them all from now on! See you Sunday!
