8) The Soldier Who Came in from the Cold

Yeah, I guess this comic looks okay. Nothing too big, just something we kind of threw on. Y’know, just some ideas we had laying around in the closet. Figured we’d splash it on a canvas and see where that goes. It’s passable, I guess I’m sure someone out there might be into this sort of thing. Whatever, it’s decent-looking.

But you may have noticed a couple of changes to the usual Blaster Nation layout, like the fact that we actually have a layout now! For those of you who like our stuff and also like making pointless status updates every second of the day, we recommend the new Facebook and Twitter icons to the right of the above comic! We’ve got a Facebook group, and Leslie and I share a Twitter that you can follow, though personally neither of us can quite grasp this whole social networking thing yet. But don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll turn into attentionwhores yet! And if you don’t like social networking but love PC gaming (what are the odds!), then why not check out our Steam group located to the right of those other buttons! Maybe you can play online computer games with fellow Blaster Nation fans. Or, since those don’t exist yet, maybe you could just play games with us! The possibilities are endless!

You might have also noticed that we now have ads up. Here at Blaster Nation, we like to forgo any sense of dignity or shame and just get right down to the heart of the matter; we like to sell ourselves for cash. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened yet, as the two advertisers we have both took advantage of the low traffic for this site and won their daily advertising space for the low cost of…well, nothing. But, hey, if we had advertising banners, we’d do the same. We’ll get right on that soon enough, though, don’t you worry.

Tune in next week, where Matt realizes the importance of family and kinship a little too late before he’s graphically decapitated.
