Alright, so normally, I'd talk about the shit Leslie and I did this week. You wanna know what we did? I played Planetside 2 and Leslie napped a whole lot. So I'm gonna talk about Planetside 2 because Leslie won't let me post the super-cute picture I took of her napping in a really stupid position. I mean, normally I don't advocate taking pictures of people while they sleep, but this was just too fucking cute. I'm not a creeper. PLANETSIDE 2

 

So, yeah, Planetside 2 is pretty fucking great. I never got to play the original, but I got to play it's little brother, Starsiege: Tribes. Now, Tribes: Ascend was a pretty okay Tribes, but the focus on speed and precision shots, cool as it is, was not why I got into Tribes. I got into Tribes for the base maintaining and stealing. That was the coolest element to me, just sneaking into enemy territory and stealing those sweet vehicle spawns and turrents for yourself. And this is exactly what Planetside 2. It plays like Battlefield 3 set in a huge Tribes map, and I LOVE IT. I've mostly been swapping between combat medic and engineer, though I think I'm leaning more towards engineer seeing as how it's almost impossible to keep anything without an armada of tanks to back you up. Vehicle combat is so damn fun in this. I'm a little turned off by the sheer amount of grind the game has, as any free-to-play game has, but at least you can gain resources quickly by not sucking at the game. If I ever have money to waste, it may be the first F2P game I spend money on.

Fucking laser-lovin' songs of bitches, suckin' at the teat of alien weaponry. Even those Terran guys are better than you. Assholes. LIBERTY OR DEATH
