Momo

The youngest child of the Haggard clan. Known for their huge muscle and hearty attitudes, the Haggard clan is a pack of brawlers that considers physical strength to be the most important thing in the world. Much like the monks, magic is forbidden in the clan because they believe it diminishes the value of their own physicality. The women of the Haggard clan are raised identically to men, with emphasis on body-building and strength-training. Momo was born into the clan with the same expectation, but as she grew older, she was simply not able to keep up with the other children of her age. Whereas the rest of the clan found entertainment in displays of strength, fighting, or hunting, Momo was fascinated with rainbows, natures, and pretty things typically shunned by the clan. She quickly became an outcast and was picked on relentlessly.

One day out in town, a street merchant convinced her to buy a magical staff. She spent her entire allowance on it, and within minutes found herself quite adapt at the magical arts. She mastered using the staff easily, using her magic to levitate it, change its shape, or even make it disappear. She practiced in secrecy any moment should could, trying her best to keep it hidden from the rest of the clan. But one day, a confrontation with her bullies pushed her over the edge. Out of anger, she summoned her staff and blew the instigators away with a heart-shaped fireball, severely injuring them. Frightened at the trouble she would be in, she fled the clan, never to return again. It didn't take long before sadness set in, and just at her lowest point as she sobbed amidst all her regrets, she heard the voice of Anu, calling her towards His mountain. She decided she would answer the call and challenge Him, assured in the idea that if she could beat the avatar of god in her own way, it would prove her strength to the clan she shamed.

Momo is the only zoning character in the game and has a wide variety of projectiles at her disposal. Her "heartburn" fireball projectile has can be fired slowly for approaching, quickly for zoning, diagonally upward on the ground or diagonally downward when in the air. Among these, her Taste the Rainbow special is one of the quickest anti-air moves in the game. Her normal moves are weaker and less practical than the other characters, but many will argue that this does little to diminish her tourney appeal. With the variety of approaches Momo has as well as her ability to play keep-away, she's placed at the very top of the tier-list.
