Man, visually, I think this page came out fucking amazingly. But I'm just not sure about the writing. I don't think the joke came out the way I intended it to. I don't know what it was, but this page was just a complete pain in the ass to do on both of our ends, and while I think Leslie's side came out amazingly, I just don't feel like my writing is good enough to carry the joke. But god damn, Leslie's art is amazing. This page was worth posting just for the panel layout and expressions alone.

I think we're just about done with one-shots, though. We've got four more left, two of them being holiday-centric, and I'm really looking forward to them. The next couple of comics are WAY better written. Super proud of them. After that, we're moving right along to the next chapter!

I'm cutting this blog post short, though. Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed just came out on PC, and I've been dying to play that for months now. Kart racers may have never been my most favorite thing, but god damn, the sheer amount of Sega love in this game is phenomenal. The remixes are some of the best I've ever heard and the track selection, dear GOD. JET SET RADIO, PANZER DRAGOON, HOUSE OF THE DEAD, SKIES OF ARCADIA, AFTER BURNER, OUTRUN, GOLDEN AXE, ALL OF THESE GET THEIR OWN FUCKING COURSE. I'm gonna go play it and grind until I unlock Gum (the best GG).
