Beat Brutal Legend again! Fucking fantastic game and I'm glad I bought it again, even with all the glitches the PC version has. It's sad that this game didn't do better and almost killed Double Fine. This game just has so much love put into it. I think maybe that's why I love games like Brutal Legend and Deadly Premonition, despite the number of problems they have. You can tell these kinds of games were just made with heart, paying careful attention to the littlest details and making sure everything works just right to make the world they crafted come to life. It's why I love everything Hideo Kojima does and it's why I hate DmC so much. Hell, DmC feels like it was made out of spite.
Been playing a lot of the Wii U, too. Nintendoland is pretty damn fun with friends. The Metroid and Zelda games kind of suck, but the Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing competitive games are RIDICULOUSLY fun. Recently had a small gathering of friends, and unfortunately those friends didn't realize that I'm King BigShit Lord of Video Games. Seriously, I was the best goddamn ghost in Luigi's Mansion. Caught everyone every single time. Hell, I was the only ghost to even WIN. Kept spooking the shit out of Leslie, she's the cutest. She's pretty good at the Animal Crossing game, though. NATURALLY, I'm better, as I'm also a Pro Dual Wielder when it comes to multiple controllers and analog sticks, but she's pretty close to being as good as me, I GUESS.
I'll still never be able to get further than her in Contra, though.
