Man, I've got nothing for this blog post, so here's just some stuff that's happened.
Leslie and I have been playing lots of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Not, y'know, CRAZY amounts because we've still got comic stuff to do and actual job stuff, but we play it whenever we get the chance. We're both at Barroth now and we've even done some co-op play through Wii U/3DS and it's SO GOOD. Right now I'm rockin' all Great Jaggi armor, but Leslie one-upped me and made complete DinoBear armor. She's got a Barroth-stylized SwitchAxe, and I've got a Great Jaggi Greatsword. I need to step up my game.
Steam has a huge indie game sale, so we bought some indie games. Ended up buying Dustforce, which is a hardcore action platformer focused on cleaning things while styling all over levels with amazing music. Really cool, love precision-platforming games. Also got Chaos on Deponia, sequel to a pretty charming-looking point and click adventure game. Haven't even played the first one yet despite owning it, but I figure I might as well get the sequel while it's cheap because I do love me some point'n'clicks. Also got Organ Trail, the newly released greenlit game that's basically classic Oregon Trail with some dark zombie twists to it. I'm kind of burnt on zombies but it seemed like a really unique game and I wanted to try it out. Overall, pretty good load of stuff I think. Will probably play them in between loading screens of Monster Hunter.
That's all for today, though! See you guys Sunday!
